Meet Our Dentist Anesthesiologist
Katie Bradford, DDS
Dr. Bradford is a Dentist Anesthesiologist/General Dentist licensed by the Tennessee Board of Dentistry. She is certified by the Tennessee Board of Dentistry to provide Deep Sedation/General Anesthesia.
Dr. Bradford was born and raised in Cape Girardeau, MO—just a short 3.5-hour drive from Nashville. She received her undergraduate degree from Southeast Missouri State University and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry. After graduation from IU, she completed a one-year General Practice Residency at The Ohio State University prior to completing three years of anesthesia training: a one-year Dental Anesthesia fellowship at Indiana University followed by a two-year CODA approved Dental Anesthesia residency program at NYU-Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.
During her Dental Anesthesia residency program, Dr. Bradford completed rotations in Internal Medicine, Pediatric Medicine, Special Needs Anesthesia, and Office-Based Dental Anesthesia. Alongside her medical anesthesia counterparts, she provided anesthesia care for a diverse mix of adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of medical backgrounds at one of the busiest Level I Trauma Centers in Brooklyn. Her training involved anesthetizing patients in the Main OR Suite and Pediatric Dental Clinic at NYU-Lutheran Medical Center. Beyond the hospital, Dr. Bradford provided care in a Dental Surgery Center designed to treat the Special Needs population in the Los Angeles area and private practice dental offices throughout New York City and the central Arizona area. During her final year of training, Dr. Bradford also served as Chief Resident for her program.
After completing her training, Dr. Bradford moved with her husband to Tennessee to join the Nashville Office-Based Anesthesia team to provide anesthesia services throughout middle Tennessee.
